Some come in saying they’re awkward in front of ca

Some come in saying they’re awkward in front of camera. Some haven’t taken a proper photo in years. Some are rebuilding themselves after a breakup, burnout, career switch, immigration, depression, or just life hitting hard.

Then the session starts.

The actor becomes vulnerable.
The professional drops the corporate mask.
The podcaster finds their voice.
The creative finally sees themselves the way others do.

And suddenly we’re taking way more photos than planned — because for the first time in a while, they actually feel like themselves again.

Portrait sessions are honestly therapy sessions with lights and cameras.

At our studio near Keele Station, we now host portrait sessions for models, creatives, entrepreneurs, professionals, artists and people simply trying to become a better version of themselves.

These sessions taught me way more than lighting and poses.
I’ve heard stories of people starting over from zero in Canada.
People hustling two jobs while chasing a dream.
People fighting anxiety but still showing up.

Life here isn’t easy.
But we still wake up, hustle, improve, rebuild and try again.

“Hey Rean, I wanna propose… you free?”

Next thing I know—

“Also… there might be a small surprise with friends and family…”

Small = full house 😅

And then of course—

“Hey Rean can you shoot some videos too?”

At this point I’m basically part of the mission.

From a few emails to a full-on surprise proposal, and now I get to capture their wedding this August… not gonna lie, this is why I love what I do.

Invite people you care for, make them part of your entire wedding. Do four, five, six shoots with your favourite photographer, shoot outdoor, keep the dress if needed, shoot later.

Choose your favourite songs, make magical videos. Don’t follow trends, follow your own vibe: 10 years down the line these will resonate your love story.

Sing, dance, argue, be happy and sad: follow your energy. Make the team part of your family, let them spend time with you, trust the process.

Don’t rush on post-production, work with your photographer, co-create memories.”
